This 34.5m steel tuna longliner with a 22 passenger charter survey was quality built by Jrou-Ryou Shipbuilding Company in Japan in 1991. Imported to Australia in 1999, she was converted into a tuna longliner. A good sea boat and very manoeverable, suitable for a variety of uses. The 13 knot hull speed is achieved with the Niigata 6MG-22HX @ 750rpm, derated to 500kw. Two Niigata gen sets give 150kw each. The 7 brine tanks hold 45 tonne, and can be run as a freezer at -20 degrees celsius. The refrigeration is fully automatic. The 6 tonne bait freezer is near new.
